Really, thanks for checking out this blog. I’d love to hear what you think about it. Go ahead and leave a comment, and we’ll take it from there. But let’s not create unrealistic expectations. I may respond, but, more likely, I probably won’t be able to. It’s not that I don’t respect you. You’re a really great person. It’s just that my editorial staff here demands a lot of my attention, and then of course all the paperwork, phone calls – you get the idea. I do want to hear from you though. Please don’t take this the wrong way. You are very special to me, in your own way.

this would be funnier if you blogged more than once every two months

your comment happened to catch my eye. since i have a spare minute i will bother to reply. i am afraid that all your life you have misunderstood what it means to be funny. i have read your blog so i know. in this case, you claim that if i blogged more often my ‘about me’ would be funnier. unfortunately, that makes no sense. Either a) i blog more and become too busy to reply to comments, in which my ‘about me’ would be stating the plain truth, or b) blogging more than bi-monthly would make the ‘about-me’ funny, but only in an ironic kind of way, since obviously i would have time to respond to comments – the problem here (for you) is that according to that logic, if hardly-blogging is funny, then barely-blogging (as I do now) is hilarious.
ps-have you ever seen the movie bottle-shock? i saw it last night. it was pretty bad.
